“Hello, friend?” That’s lame. Maybe I should give you a name… But that’s a slippery slope. You’re only in my head. We have to remember that…

Welcome to my blog/repo of knowledge. There are three purposes of this site. First to share any scripts that I find useful. These could be PowerShell, Zsh, Bash, or a combo of the two. I script for daily tools, system administration, and ethical hacking. Second, to post things that I learn in my Linux journal, more on that later. Finally, to share any projects that I have worked on at home or at work.

A little about me. I am a cyber security enthusiast! I load the Black Arch toolkit on top of my Arch build, and love to pick computer’s chips. I would tell you how I store my passwords, but I have to keep some secrets. I love PowerShell Core and Zsh and find that the two work very well together. This helps me integrate many tools from a large collection for my benefit.

For the past year I have been running Linux as my daily driver, and I have been distro hopping between vanilla Debian, PopOs, Kali (as a main not great), Ubuntu and many others. They were all great for their own reasons, and really if I wanted to, could have molded it to be perfect. However there is Arch Linux. This literally has nothing. No official installer. You have to format, pacstap, and script until it works. This was exciting to me and really brought me into the fold for running Linux. I am ever going to tell you that Arch is the only right choice, but it was for me. It has forced me to learn and grow and even helps me be a better Windows Administrator.

I am constantly learning at my job, and that is what I love about IT. There are constantly new challenges. Sometimes you stumble on the answer and then figure out what you actually did. Writing things down has saved me dozens of times. I am looking forward to this journey, and if you enjoy following these stories and have questions, I might need to add more features to this site so that you can leave comments for me.

Thanks a gig,
